4. Who receives your data

We don’t sell your data and don’t share it for advertising. We pass it only to those the Service can’t work without:

RecipientWhatWhy
Our AI access provider and, through it, the developers of the AI models Your answers, without your name or email To write your letter and check answers for signs of crisis

Where your data is. Our servers are located in Russia, and your data is stored there. The AI models that write the letter run on servers outside Russia; your answers are sent there without your name or email address. By using the Service you agree to these transfers.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete everything. Write to hello@letterfromlater.com from the email your letter came to, or include the link to your letter. We delete within 3 business days. Your answers and all your letters are erased permanently, and the one-year email is cancelled; payment records remain in anonymous form as accounting law requires.

If you live in a US state with its own privacy law, such as California, you have these rights under that law too.

7. Cookies and browser storage

The page keeps the random session key in your browser’s local storage, so a reload doesn’t lose your progress. Your answers themselves are not stored in the browser. Yandex Metrica uses its own cookies for anonymous statistics.

8. Age

The Service is for adults (18+). We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We’ll update the date at the top when this policy changes.
